At Playformance, we design custom team-building events that bring people together in the best way possible—through play! No, you don’t need to be an athlete, and no, you won’t be doing backflips (unless you really want to). Our experiences are built for everyone and guaranteed to be fun.

We’ll keep you moving, thinking, and laughing—without giving too much away ahead of time. (Because let’s be honest, the best memories come from a little surprise!)

What People Are Saying

Yesterday was incredible! The discussions in the afternoon were amazing - teachers reflected on what they learned about themselves, how that affects them in the classroom, and how they can use that to be better leaders and educators.

I hope that our gifted retreat can get to that place.

I really liked the activities and the order of them. I think making folks comfortable, slowly moving them into a little discomfort and then allowing all to fail and grow from that was perfect.

We absolutely LOVE taking our students to Playformance. Students engage in games and team building activities that require integrity, respectful/safe play, listening, following directions, and provide opportunities for student autonomy while having FUN!! Playformance instructors model growth mindset and respectful ways to play so that the kids find immediate success in whatever activity/game they engage in. Playformance is a wonderful place to help kids overcome fears, strengthen friendships, and develop good sportsmanship. It’s our favorite field trip of the year!

“Thanks again so much! We love working with Playformance because you ALWAYS deliver an amazing, engaging, and playful program!”

Eller College of Management

We have been taking our class to Playformance for field trips for the last three years and love it every time. We always go at the beginning and end of the school year, my co-teacher and I also use many of their play philosophies in our class throughout the school year. We love to go at the beginning of the year because it gives students an opportunity to learn new concepts and team build in a safe space. They learn the healthy play rules and to take care of each other first which is a concept we come back all year long. I love seeing them take risks and work together in a way they normally would not have the chance to. They also learn that conflict resolution skills and that it is possible to work things out without fighting, which for first through third graders is not always easy. The coaches are amazing and are great at being patient when helping the kids learn new games. We plan to come back as often as we can!

“Playformance was an awesome field trip for our 7th graders. Number one: the entire experience was FUN! Even though it was "non-academic" it checked several boxes for yearlong goals we have including but not exclusively: teamwork and perseverance. The coaches put our students in situations where they had to think on their feet and collaborate to solve problems. This can paralyze some 12 year olds but when it is based in PLAY the kids were comfortable getting out of their comfort zone and into their learning zone. We saw better communication and some new friendships when we got back to school too. We will be going back next year!”
